The story of Vengeur®

Vengeur® is TB Outdoor's answer in terms of "Rescue Knife". The list of its exclusive functions and extraordinary possibilities is endless. This knife is intended to respond to all distress situations. Vengeur® has been specifically designed for extraction from a helicopter cockpit and for survival in hostile environments, which demonstrates its performance and reliability in the most extreme situations. It is an essential and powerful tool, a real savior in emergency situations.

Another feat of Vengeur® lies in its window breaker. This is equipped with a 4 mm tungsten carbide ball, an extremely hard and resistant material. This composition allows it to easily break even the thickest windows or plexiglass plates.
Slice, cut, pierce, pierce, light a fire, Vengeur® is ready for all circumstances.

The Vengeur® is the ultimate survival knife

The Vengeur® allows you to escape from a vehicle following an accident or to assist accident victims. The blade's tightenings allow you to cut safety straps, seat belts, etc.

The window breaker with a very large capacity (made up of a 4 mm tungsten carbide ball) makes it easy to break through large thicknesses of glass or plexiglass. (It was designed to allow the extraction of a helicopter cockpit).

The robustness of the blade even makes it possible to cut the windshield of a vehicle as a last resort to extract the occupants.

Vengeur® case and its accessories

The Vengeur® knife can be worn on the belt, on the thigh, on the arm or even on the torso. The kydex sheath is designed to accommodate the knife in both directions (right-handed or left-handed). On the Kydex sheath, a pointed cavity allows water to drain following immersion. Water on the blade or in the sheath is drained with the drain point in the Kydex sheath.

The belt loop originally fitted and delivered with the knife can be easily removed using two screws and a spacer (rubber spacer) according to your wishes. The Kydex sheath compatible with the MOLLE standard.

The handle of Vengeur® military knife:

The handle is a concentrate of originalities:

- It is comfortable,
- almost indestructible,
- equipped with a window breaker which unscrews and reveals a “firesteel” screwed into the cavity of the handle,
- the direction of use is identifiable by a touch thumb hole
- non-slip,
- non-electrical conductor,
- resistant to most chemicals,

Both sides of the handle are identifiable. The thumb hole which allows the positioning of the thumb (mainly for combat) is given a different texture depending on the direction of the knife. Completely designed for ambidextrous carrying, the sensation of the texture present on the disbursement allows the user to know which way the knife is oriented even in complete darkness.

The handle is equipped with a snap button on each side. Intended to receive the fixed snap button on the case, it provides absolute security allowing Vengeur® and its Kydex case to be joined inseparably. Thumb pressure exerted under the pressure of the sheath disengages the safety and releases the knife. It is impossible for an attacker to turn against the Vengeur® wearer and free him from his holster. This innovation is really a point that led to the design of this extraordinary knife.

Integrated window breaker and fire starter

Positioned at the bottom of the handle, the window breaker is extremely substantial.
The 4mm diameter Tungsten Carbide ball is firmly set in a machined and perforated part to allow passage for a rope which can also be passed through one of the holes at the front of the handle.
Unscrewed, the window breaker reveals an extremely effective fire starter that can be activated with the back of the blade on its notched part.

Sharpening

Regularly maintain the edge of your blade before it becomes too damaged. Maintain factory-set sharpening angles that ensure efficient cutting. There are a variety of products available for sharpening your knife. Choose the one you are most comfortable with to carry out this operation. It is possible to reform the serrations with a diamond file. However, given the hardness of steel, it is likely that you will never have to do this.
